Hello everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a christmas shaker card. Are you busy making christmas cards or have you sent all your greeting cards out already? If you need some ideas, maybe a shaker card is one you could add to your christmas card collection.
This is my christmas shaker card.
I started out by making the front panel with a circle window. I wanted my images to continue on the clear acetate sheet. So I stamped and gold heat embossed the Round Bokeh Burst and the second layer of the candle from the Fresh Cut Poinsettias stamp set on the dark grey shimmer cardstock and on the clear sheet with the help of the Misti tool. I added the outline of the candle flame from the Fresh Cut Poinsettias Outlines on the clear sheet as well, gold heat embossed it and colored it using yellow and orange alcohol inks on the back of the clear acetate . I then stamped the pine needles from Holiday Cones Outlines on the bottom of the candle using embossing ink and gold heat embossed them, too. To give the card some pop of colors I added two mini poinsettias from Christmas Poinsettia mini stamp (stamped in Red Sangria hybrid ink and Pink Derby dye ink), holly leaves (stamped in Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Deep Emerald) and berries (stamped in Lipstick Red) along with some gold thread.
On the card base I blended Vanilla Frosted Cupcake and Lemon Drop to show the candle light. I then assembled the shaker card using foam adhesive. As shaker elements I used the Wintergreen Frost Couture Mix of which I sorted the green sequins out. The banner for the sentiment is from the Thankful Cornucopia stamp set which I gold heat embossed on a snippet of white cardstock. After I gold heat embossed the sentiment from Christmas Poinsettia Mini, I cut the banner using Coordinating die and mounted it on the card front.
That’s it from me today! Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed my card.
Have a crafty day!
Hugs,
TaeEun

This is a beautiful card and the gold background with the gold continiued on to the acrylic with the bokeh and the candle works really well, and the lovely bright poinsettias and the added background behind the candle are very pretty too. A gorgeous shaker card by TaeEun. x
