Watercolor Poinsettia

Hi peeps. Vera here today. Yikes… can you believe that next week already Thanksgiving? On my end, it sure don’t feel like it. Maybe because we don’t really experience color change here in south of Texas. And, yes, yesterday we have 80 degrees weather. I love it though. For me, that’s perfect temperature. 🙂

Anyway, I am still working on making Christmas cards. And, for those of you who plan to send cards for Caring Hearts Card Drive, please do so as our deadline is next week! The Ton is one of the proud sponsor for the card drive.

Now, let’s get on with my card. I have to say that the Fresh Cut Poinsettias along with its matching dies is one of my favorite set to work with.

This set is such a beautiful set. I stamp all the elements on a piece f watercolor cardstock, heat embossed, die cut & color the flower with with Zig Clean Brush watercolor marker. I love the intensity of the color it provides.

For the sentiment, I partial stamped the word merry from Mistletoe Kisses and die cut Christmas using Holiday Word Dies on Adhesive Foil paper in Matte Gold. Love, love, love this gold paper! It is gorgeous! Finish the card by adding some Precious Pink Sparkling Clear Sequins.

I know, I am a bit too obsessed with this set. But, come on,can you blame me? 😉

Well, that’s all from me today peeps. Happy Friday and may your weekend starts off wonderfully!
