October Guest Designer: Stephanie Klauck

Hello everyone, it’s Stephanie here and I’m excited to be back on The Ton Stamps blog with a new card to share. For today’s card, I used the new Department Store cling background stamp with the City Girls: Retail Therapy stamp set to create a fun scene on my card. I love the new background scene stamps! They make it so quick and easy to create a complete scene on a card with one stamp.

To create my card, I first stamped the woman with all of the packages and the taxi cab, onto a white card stock panel. I then stamped them a second time on masking paper and put them on top of the original stamped images. I stamped the background directly over top with black ink and when I removed the masks, it looked like it was all one complete stamped image. I decided to keep the focus on the woman and taxi, so I coloured those images in with Copic markers and I left the rest of the scene in black & white. I love the pop of colour against the background.

To create my sentiment, I trimmed down a piece of red card stock to a small strip and stamped the sentiment with black ink. I then adhered it to the bottom area of the panel. I added the finished stamped panel to a piece of glitter card stock and then adhered it to a grey card base.

Thanks so much for joining me today! I’ll be back with another card to share soon! 😉
