Merry & Bright

Hi peeps. Vera here. Well, look at that, we’re already in the middle of the week. I don’t know about you, but I like Wednesday as it means I am only two days away from the weekend. 🙂

I am still growing my Christmas card stash, so… on to more Christmas card from me. This time, I used Fresh Cut Poinsettia (Coord. Outlines) set. And, am so excited that I finally have the Fresh Cut Poinsettia Coordinating Dies. As much as I love fussy cutting, having the dies definitely help. Especially when you’re short on time.

For this card, I decided to give my ol’ but goody vellum stash some playing time. The vellum just give you a different look and texture that I do enjoy from time to time.

I first stamp and heat embossed all the images on vellum, then color them on the back side with Copic marker. To add some glamorous touch, I used the beautiful Adhesive Glitter Paper Gold. Seriously, this adhesive paper is perfect for adding pretty, fancy glitter without all the mess.

For finishing touch I stamped sentiment from Mistletoe Kisses set and added texture using liquid enamel around the card. Clean, simple, yet it let the flower shine & take the center stage.

That’s all from me today. Enjoy your day and have a fab day! Cheers…

Hi Vera ~ Your card is simply stunning and I always feel like vellum is so “special” on any card. It adds such a touch of class (& coloring from the back can also help hide an oops or two!!). Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful CAS card with the rest of us. ~HUGS~
