Hello and welcome back to Day 3 of our Fall 2016 Release!! Today we have five new sets to show you and they’re the first half of our Holiday sets for this year. We also have one new Couture Mix and three new die sets for today’s release debut.
Our Couture Mix for the day is our new Elf Stockings mix!
Laura Jane created another gorgeous sample for our Christmas Poinsettia mini stamp.
Her nontraditional green poinsettia is so festive and cheerful! Her text backdrop that also serves as part of the sentiment is so clever! For more information on our gift with purchase promotions, head on over to our Day 2 post for more details.
Now let’s check out some new stamps!

Tae Eun’s shaker holiday card is elegance at its finest! I love how she partially gilded poinsettia with some gold heat embossing.
Next is my card created with the Fresh Cut Poinsettia set and coordinating dies. I started off by stamping all the floral elements using our Couture Color inks. The poinsettias were stamped with Soft Garnet Dye, Red Sangria Hybrid, Lipstick Red Dye inks. The leaves were stamped with Soft Garden Dye, Bright Fern Dye. The flame was stamped with Coralline Hybrid and Amber Citrine Dye Inks. The candles were stamped with Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz Dye inks. When I finished stamping all the elements, I die cut everything using the coordinating dies. Then I die cut a stitched circle which would serve as the backdrop for my centerpiece. Next, I traced a circle onto my card panel – this served as my guide as to where I was blending my yellows (the candle light glow). I blended the area behind the die cut circle with Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine and Peach Blossom Dye inks. Then I assembled the florals together using several layers of foam tape. I gold glitter embossed the banner and sentiment and adhered it right onto my main poinsettia. I finished the card by adding Glass Slipper sequins in 10, 8, 6, 5 and 4mm.
Eunji created a beautiful fresh cut bouquet of poinsettias for a parental holiday card.
Emily created her own border of Fresh Cut Poinsettias and Holiday Cones for a modern and beautiful holiday card.
Eunji’s poinsettia centerpiece is so bright and elegant! I love how she added the longer pine needle branches to accent her centerpiece.
Laura Jane’s poinsettia card is bright and sunny! Her subtle background of Folk Art Florals add an additional floral element to her gorgeous card.
Mayline’s holiday card is festive cornucopia of holiday elements! I love how she mixed and matched all the different branches and florals from our featured sets today.
Vera’s holiday card is soft and lovely as she combined our Holiday Cones and Poinsettia sets.
Vera’s next card is so out of the box and beautiful with her turquoise poinsettia. The added dimension to the berries give the card an extra pop of depth!
Tae Eun’s coloring of our Poinsettia outlines is just beautiful as she takes on a non traditional blue color combo to her gorgeous project.
Emily’s card is modern and eye catching with her pop of hot pink poinsettias!
Mayline colored in her Outline Poinsettias for her next card! I love the bright watercolor washes she applied to this project!
Jenny’s chalkboard version of her poinsettia outline card is so chic and modern!
Laura Jane’s next poinsettia card is out of this world with her festive green foil border! Her vellum overlay softens up the pine branch background.
For my next card, I used the outline and layering stamps from both Poinsettia sets. I started off by stamping the 2nd layers of the poinsettias and then I heat embossed the outline over that layer. Then I heat embossed and die cut additional branches, buds, berries and leaves from both the Poinsettia Outline and Holiday Cone outline sets. For my card panel, I used our Double Stitched Rectangle dies to create the layers on may panel. I took the inside die cut panel and blended some Bright Emerald Dye ink at the bottom edge. Next I die cut our new Holiday Word Dies using our Gold Foil Adhesive paper. I adhered the sentiment onto the blended panel. Then I arranged the florals at the corners and finished the card by adding some Glass Slippers sequins.
The process of making this card was the same as the above card with the exception of the colors of the supplies used (Red Sangria Hybrid Ink and Red Foil Adhesive Paper).
Jenny’s bright Holiday Cone shaker is a beautiful collage of multi toned pine branches. I love the
Eunji’s next card is arty and beautiful as it features a bright holly berry branch as a dramatic focal point.
For her next card, Eunji created a beautiful cluster of layered Holiday Cones. Her glitter and snow accents make her project extra festive!
I created a pine tree partial border with our Vogue Skies skyline to create a wintry scene. This is a one layer card and thus, a lot of masking was involved. I started off by blending some Cali Blue Ink on the bottom edge of my card panel for my sky. Then I stamped my pine cones in our Cocoa Collection Inks. Then I masked the pinecones and stamped the pine tree bristles with our Bright Fern and Basil Mojito dye inks. Then I stamped the skyline in our Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz dye ink. I added snow to the buildings for a more scenic effect. Lastly, I added some Call Me Maybe Red sequins to give the card a more seasonal and festive look.
Mayline’s next card is artsy and so pretty with her watercolored outline pinecones.
Eunji created a joyful wreath around her sleeping fox. She went outside the box with her Vintage Frames accent around her adorable holiday fox.
Mayline created a festive and colorful border with her berry branches and multi colored gilding.
For my last card, I used the long pine branch stamp from our Holiday Cones Coordinating Outlines set to create a gold glitter heat embossed border. Then I die cut the edges of the panel and a shaker window using our Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. Next I stamped the sentiment (the set will be debuted tomorrow) onto the inner panel and then adhered that panel onto my card base. I adhered a clear acetate windows to my border panel, filled my shaker with our Hazelnut Kisses Mix and popped the panel up onto my top folding card base.

I think I may have already commented on this post but I wanted to say Great job on the Poinsettia you really captured a true poinsettia, I should know I worked in a greenhouse for 15 years and planted and cared for those blessed plants every year. LOL
