Hi everyone, It’s Stephanie here and I’m back with one more card to share using the Ton stamps. I’ve had so much fun guesting for the month of August and definitely wanted to include a card using the Happiest of Peonies stamp set… it’s one of my favs!

I stamped the flower image onto a white cardstock panel with black ink and then I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to colour the image in. I love peonies and have a bright pink one in my yard, so I wanted to colour the flowers with the same vibrant pink colour. I love how bright the pink and green are and that they pop right off the card front.
Once I had the flower coloured, I stamped the outline image a second time right over top with black ink and then I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The raised texture, shiny texture of the outline makes the colours within the flower stand out even more!

I stamped the sentiment from the Thanks a Bunch stamp set onto a white cardstock panel and then cut it out with a fishtail banner die along with a piece of vellum and gold glitter cardstock. I layered all of the banners together and adhered them onto my card base with the stamped panel, a strip of black and white striped paper and a strip of gold glitter cardstock. To finish off the card, I added some clear sequins with gold Stickles in the center.
Thanks so much for joining me this month on the blog!
So beautiful! I love the colors!

Your idea of stamping the flowers the second time and then heat embossing them was brilliant! I must give that a try.
