Hi there crafty peeps. Vera here today. It’s my turn to share a project here on The Ton blog.
This past weekend, I was in the mood to do some watercoloring, so I reached for the Lucky Tulip set. I love coloring this pretty flower.
I first heat embossed the image with white embossing powder, then went to town coloring it with Kuretake ZIG Clean Color watercolor marker. I mixed some pink and orange for the flower and some blue & teal for the leaves. I have to admit, the more I play with these markers, the more I am loving them. The color is just so vibrant.
Once the panel dry, I adhere it to a card base. Then I stamped the sentiment from Floral World set using Soft Garden and Bright Emerald ink pad. Finally, add some Glass Slippers sequins and rounded the top right corner of the card.
That’s what I love about this set. I can just let the flower shine and take center stage. No need to add much embellishment to achieve a simple, but elegant look.
Hope you enjoy today’s card. Cheers…
