Hi peeps! Happy July. Vera here today. I haven’t make much cards lately, so I kind of feel a bit rusty. I guess, that’s what happened when you took a little break. Hoping I’ll get back on the swing of things soon.

For my card today, I opted to play with the Darling Flamingos set that I haven’t really play with. i love playing with layered stamps.

For the sun background, I first cut a circle from a  piece of scrap paper as a mask and use Coral Cavern, Amber Citrine, Beach Blondie, and Vanilla Frosted ink pads to color it in. Once that done I stamped the Bokeh Burst Round around it for some fun details.

Next, I stamped and fussy cut the flamingos using Rose Quartz & Hollywood Star ink pad. Finished with a sentiment from Large Peony 1 and some Bellini sequins.

When in doubt, I tend to go to my CAS style. I was going for 2 cards for today’s post, but I am so unhappy with the result, so I decided to stop while I am ahead. Hah!! After all, who wants to share bad card. 😉
