For today, I designed a bright teacup and floral card.  I started off by stamping our lovely teacup from our Tea Party set in our Noir Dye Ink. Then I stamped the solid body portion of the cup with our new Caribbean Turquoise Dye Ink.  I stamped the saucer in the same bright teal ink on a separate piece of cardstock (this will be my panel on my card).  Then I gold heat embossed the different elements of the teacup and saucer that come with the set.  I fussy cut the teacup (this will go over my saucer as I assemble the card later on)

Next I stamped the floral blooms from our new Always Cherry Blossoms set in our copic friendly Caviar Hybrid Ink on separate cardstock.  Then I colored them in with various pink copic markers and fussy cut them out.  Next I die cut a circle on printer paper using our Double Stitched Circle dies. I used the negative of the die cut to create a stencil so I could blend a sunny yellow circle at the corner of my card panel.  I blended the body of the sun with our Lemon Drop Dye Ink.  I peeled the stencil off and adhered the positive portion of the die cut (the actual circle) and temporarily adhered it to my blended yellow circle.  I then masked portions of my card panel along the yellow circle with washi tape to blend some rays coming out of the sun using the same Lemon Drop Dye Ink.

After I finished blending my sun, I popped up the teacup over the saucer.  Then I popped up some of the cherry blossoms alongside my teacup.  Next I stamped the heart steam from our Teacup Party over the teacup in our Warm Hazelnut Dye Ink.  The additional steam elements you see around the heart is actually stamped with the small flourishes from our Holiday Flourishes stamp set.  I colored over the steam heart and swirls with some Wink of Stella.  Next I gold heat embossed the sentiment from our Caffeine Crush set on a separate piece of black cardstock. Then I fussy cut it out and popped up onto my panel with some foam tape.

Next, I trimmed my panel about 1/4 inch.  I put down a strip of Glossy Fine Glitter Gold Adhesive Paper on the edge of my side folding cardbase.  I adhered a black strip of cardstock over the glitter.  Then I adhered the panel over my base.  I finished off the card by adding Glass Slippers and Matte Gold sequins onto my card.

That’s it from us at The Ton!  There are many blogs to visit, so without further delay, go hop along. See the complete list of participants at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. Thank you for stopping by!!
