Hello! Good morning, fabulous followers! I am sharing three cards with you today. I wanted to try a different card size. I can’t believe I’ve been crafting for almost two years and almost 99% of my cards have been size A2. I have got to start trying more new things! 🙂 Well, I still colored with my favorite watercolors just because… they are so fun!
Okay so I started with watercolor sheets trimmed down to 4″ x 8″. I cut cardstock down to 8.25″ x 8.25″ and scored one side for my card bases. I started by stamping Happiest of Peonies on all 3 watercolor sheets using Noir Couture Color.
For the first card, I colored with pink and green watercolors. I added some light beige watercolors around the floral clusters to give it a vintage look and when it was dry, I added splatters all over. I stamped “Hello Love” from Bokeh Burst – Heart. I stamped “love” in Orchid Crush Couture Color first and then offset with Noir Couture Color. I stamped ‘hello’ all over with a very light ink.
For the second card, I colored with various watercolors for a rainbow effect. Once it was dry, I stamped the sentiment from Timeless Icons.
For the last card, I masked off the four sides with masking tape and watercolored the center. I stamped the sentiment from TImeless Icons onto black cardstock with VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I trimmed it down to create a label and attached it over the center with foam tape.
Here’s a look at all three:
I hope you were inspired today. Thanks for stopping by!!
