Fresh Cut Orchids

Good morning!  Jess here with a dimensional card using one of our fabulous layering floral stamps!  Most days I love to spend time coloring but sometimes I just want someone (or something) to do the work for me!  And that’s what is so wonderful about these layering Fresh Cut Orchids!  All that shading and dimension in the petals and leaves….just the power of ink pads, acrylic blocks, and a little bit of masking!

I started by stamping the Fresh Cut Orchids using our Amethyst and Citrine Couture Color ink collections onto a white cardstock A2 panel.  I also stamped a few extra on a scrap piece of cardstock and fussy cut them.  I also stamped the outline of the orchid onto masking paper and fussy cut them.  I placed the masks over the orchids and stamped one more flower and the stem.  I used copics to color the dirt in my vase and stamped a second vase on a piece of white cardstock with Noir ink, fussy cut it, and adhered it to the card panel with foam mounting tape.  I also used foam mounting tape to pop up three of the orchids and added a sprinkling of Night sequins in various sizes.  Finally I stamped the sentiment from Basic Labels onto white cardstock with Noir ink, fussy cut it, and adhered it to the card panel with foam mounting tape and a strip of black glitter tape as an accent!

Don’t you just love those orchids!  So realistic and stunning!  Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!
