Video: Wonderful Tulip Bouquets

Hello, everyone!  I’m back with a card and video on how I made some Tulip Bouquets!  I used our Basic and Family Label stamp sets to make a gorgeous set of cards for my family members.

I started off by stamping the large bloom in our Fresh Cut Tulips in our Ruby (Rose Quartz Dye, Soft Garnet Dye, Red Sangria Hybrid) and Citrine (Vanilla Frosted Cupcake Dye, Beach Blondie Dye, Amber Citrine Dye) Collection Layering Inks.  Then I stamped the smaller bloom in our Orchid (Soft Orchid Dye, Orchid Crush Dye, Grand Fuchsia Dye) Collection Layering Inks.  Next I stamped both leaves that come in the set in our Crystal Garden (Soft Garden Dye, Bright Fern Dye, Deep Emerald Dye) Layering Inks.

After I stamped all the florals and greenery, I fussy cut everything.  Next, I arranged the stems and foliage first and adhered them together with some glue.  Then I arranged and adhered the florals on the stems.  I took a piece of gold tissue paper and wrapped the bouquet.  For a nice added touch, I tied a piece of twine around the bouquet.

Next, I gold heat embossed a side folding A2 sized black cardbase with our Stripe Addict Cling Background Stamp.  Then I die cut a rectangular stitched panel using the third largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangles which I adhered onto the center of my card base.  Then I popped up the bouquet onto the base with some foam squares and craft glue.

For the sentiment, I stamped the label stamps from our Basic and Family Labels in our Noir Dye Ink on separate cardstock.  Next I fussy cut the labels and then popped them up next to my bouquet.  Lastly, I added some Glossy Black Sequins to finish off the card!

I created a set of these cards to give to several of my family members (I added some Nuvo Crystal Dew Drops to this card for my sister)!  I just love the bouquet and the depth that this card had so I mass produced the tulips and created several of the same cards.

Thank you all for stopping by today! Be sure to check out our blog tomorrow because we have a fabulous guest joining us 🙂
