Good morning! Jess here with a card using two of our new stamp sets, Bokeh Burst Round and Happiest of Peonies! A little bit of masking allowed me to create a custom bokeh shape for my peonies!
I started by stamping Happiest of Peonies on watercolor paper with versafine and heat-embossing it with clear embossing powder. Then I colored the flowers with my zig clean color real brush markers and a waterbrush. I let it dry and then cut it out with my ScanNCut. Next I lightly traced the outline of the flowers on a piece of black cardstock with a pencil. Then I took the Bokeh Burst Round stamp and masked off 3/4s of the circle. I inked the exposed quarter with versamark and stamped it around the pencil outline with versamark allowing it to overlap slightly. Then I heat-embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder and erased the pencil lines. I also stamped the sentiment from Large Peony 3 onto black cardstock and embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder before fussy cutting around the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment over the peonies and then mounted the peonies with foam mounting tape over the bokeh background!
I love figuring out ways to “customize” my stamp sets and I definitely have more ideas for my bokeh burst stamp sets! 😉 Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Jess you’ve mentioned your scan and cut . does it allow you to cut right up to the image, not leaving a border? I enjoy your posts and talents. Thanks.
