Next I colored in the peonies (No. 41), foliage (No. 42) and stamens (No. 52) with zig markers. I did not take care to add any shading or fancy coloring techniques to this card. Next, I dried the entire panel with my heat gun and prepped it with an anti-static powder tool. I stamped our Brushed Hello stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with some gold embossing powder.
Then I added some shading to the sentiment with a black zig marker to ground it into the panel. To add some more texture, I die cut a double stitched border with our Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. Next, I popped up the dimensional border with some foam tape. Lastly, I added some Fashion Week Red sequins in 6, 5 and 4mm sizes.
I love the simple coloring and design of this card. It was therapeutic to not worry about shading or what not with these florals. My biggest concern was to stay within the lines! Thanks for stopping by, everyone!
