Watercoloring floral card

Good morning friends, Eunji here. Here are two floral cards I made using watercolor.  Both cards are created using the same technique but different color.  I used our Sending Peonies stamp set, Bokeh Burst – Round stamp set and Large Peony 1 stamp set.

I made a short video on how I created this card. Enjoy!

For my first card I used an orange base and some violet watercolor. I started by stamping the lone peony in the Sending Peonies stamp set and the leaves in the Large Peony 1 stamp set on watercolor paper.  Next, I watercolored the peonies and leaves.  Then I fussy cut the images leaving a slight white border.  For the next step, I created the background.  I watercolored the background. Then I stamped the peonies in the Sending Peonies stamp set in our Couture Color – Crystal Pewter Dye ink. Next I applied some Couture Color – Hampton White Pigment ink with brush. Lastly I added the peony and leaf images and sequins(called Glass Slippers Sequins – 10, 8, 6, 5, 4mm, Mixed) with foam tape. Then I stamped the sentiment stamp from our Bokeh Burst – Round stamp set.
