Vermilion Flower

Good morning friends~Eunji here. Today I am sharing two floral cards.  Both cards were created using the following Peony stamp sets: Happiest of Peonies stamp set and Loose Peonies stamp set).  I am showing you our Spring  2016 Release Day stamps! I used watercolor with some Vermilion color. Are you ready?? Let’s start!!

For my first card, I used our  Loose Peonies stamp set and Bokeh Burst – Round stamp set.I was inspired by my watercolor palette.  First I started with a 4x6inch watercolor yardstick and started stamping with the Bokeh Burst – Round stamp set. I continued stamping on the same paper with the same stamp. The other paper’s size is 2.5×2.5inch which I colored on the corner with watercolor. Then I added 4x6inch cardstock with foam tape. Next, I  stamped the peony image on watercolor yardstick using the Loose Peonies stamp set. Then I applied clean water to the peony image. After I colored with watercolor. This is the way I achieved the spread effect.  Then I fussy cut the leaves leaving a thin border that I added with foam tape on the back of the cardstock.  The sentiment stamped is from our  Bokeh Burst – Round stamp set which I stamped on cardstock and then I fussy cut it out. Lastly I added some sequins – Glass Slippers Sequins – 10, 8, 6, 5, 4mm, Mixed.

For my second project, I colored the florals the same way as the first card. I used the Happiest of Peonies stamp set for this card.  First I stamped the flowers on watercolor cardstock and applied clean water to the flowers. Next I colored with watercolor using the same vermilion color.  Next, I drew a line around the flowers for a border. After, I splashed  watercolor all about on the background. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest of Peonies stamp set. Lastly I added some sequins-  Glass Slippers Sequins – 10, 8, 6, 5, 4mm, Mixed.
