I created this colorful and spring-y card with our Fresh Cut Tulips set.  I created a colorful blooming tulip border card!

I started off by stamping the sentiment in the center of my card base . I did this first because I needed a reference point for my blooming border.  For my sentiment, I used our Vogue Alpha Upper set and Basic Sentiments set.  I love using our new alphabet sets to create my own custom sentiments (just like the alternating Hugs here).  The “sending” was stamped in our Coralline Hybrid Ink and the “hugs” was stamped with our Grand Fuchsia Dye Ink.

Next, I stamped all of the layered floral components on separate white cardstock.  For the blooms, I used our Orchid Collection, Peach Blossom Dye, Coralline Hybrid, Coral Cavern Dye, Citrine Collection and Peony Collection inks.  For the stems, I used our new Crystal Garden Collection inks.  After I stamped everything out, I had everything cut through my scan and cut machine (however, dies will be available at a later time!).  I then arranged the tulips around the edges of my card base to create a blooming border around the sentiment.  I made sure to overlap some blooms over the other blooms and leaves to create somewhat of a more realistic floral arrangement.  To create more depth, I alternated between adhering the florals and foliage directly on the card base and adhering them down with some dimensional foam tape.

Lastly, I adhered some silver rhinestones around my sentiment to finish off the card.

Your next stop on the hop is Ruby!!
