Spring 2016 Release – Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of our Release Week!  Today we have seven stamps to show you – six clear sets and one cling stamp.

The first set of stamps today is our Bokeh Burst Collection.  These sets feature three different shapes (Round, Star and Heart) that have a faux masked effect around them.  Each shape is surrounded by a “bokeh burst”.  The beauty of these stamps is that you get that masked look with one easy stamp.  I designed the Bokeh Burst Star set first and continued to design the additional shapes to give you more variety and options.

For our next set of stamps, we have our Large Brushed Sentiment Collection – Brushed Hello, Brushed Happy and Brushed Thanks.  These sets feature a rather large sentiment that stretches horizontally and totally across an A2 sized card.

Our last stamp to debut today is our Floral Border Panel Cling Stamp!  This is a red rubber cling stamp that is perfect for stamping the perfect border an your A2 panel.  The stamp itself measures approximately 4.5 x 5.75 inches.  This is one of my favorites in this release! I hope you like it too!

I literally LOL’ed when I saw this card by Mayline.  Her stunnah shade sporting bear is super sassy and a true star!  Her repeat background created with our Bokeh Burst Star is just fitting for this sassy bear!

Keeway’s card is soft and pretty with her pastel toned peonies set against her Bokeh Burst Round stamped image.

Eunji used our Bokeh Burst Heart set to create a pretty botanical themed card.  I love how she created her own floral background against a bright watercolor wash!

Mayline also created a multi colored Bokeh Burst.  Her addition of this adorable panda  to her shaker is just too cute!

Eunji extended the bokeh effect with her next card to create a really cool, masculine card.

Next is my card which I created using the round stamps from our Bokeh Burst Round set.  I started off by stamping the four round stamps across my entire A2 panel in Ballet Slippers ink.  Then I did the same with our Hollywood Star and Cosmopolitan Pink Inks.  After the bokeh effect was created using our pink tones, I stamped the same round stamps in our Hampton White ink to create a softer look to our bokeh effect.  Then I die cut the panel with our Rectangle Double Stitched dies and added some Sittin Pretty Pink and Glass Slipper Sequins to finish off the card.

For my next card, I stamped the peony wreath/cluster from our new Sending Peonies set on two opposite corners of an A2 sized card panel in Noir Dye Ink.  I zapped the panel with my heat gun to dry the ink.  Then I gold heat embossed the Brushed Thanks sentiment onto my panel.  I trimmed the panel about a 1/4 of an inch. Then I heat embossed the top and bottom edges of my cardbase where I then adhered my stamped panel onto. I finished the card by adhering Glossy Black (10,8,6mm) and Matte Gold (8,6,5mm) sequins.

For my last card, I gold glitter heat embossed the floral border stamp onto a watercolor panel.  Then I watercolored the florals and foliage.  Next, I fussy cut the center portion of the panel.  Next I took our Bokeh Burst Round stamp and stamped some of the bokeh dots on another panel in the edges of the are within the fussy cut area. Then I stamped my sentiment (Basic Sentiments) in the center of that background panel. I adhered the background panel onto a cardbase. Lastly I adhered the watercolor fussy cut panel onto my background base with some dimensional foam tape.

    What beautiful cards! I really love the Bokeh effects collection. All the different looks with this collection are just awesome. Love the versatility ! The big sentiments are another favorite. My wish list is so big!!
