Floral Cards

Hi peeps and happy Thursday! Vera here and I have a couple simple one layer cards that I’d like to share with you.

I love playing with The Ton cling background stamp. They are perfect to create quick & beautiful card. For my first card, I used Peony Garden Cling Background. I guess, I always kind of partial toward peony. They are such pretty flowers, it’s hard to resist them.

To create this card, I simply dabbed the flowers with various mini ink pads. Don’t worry too much if some of the colors ended up layering on top of one another. No one say it has to be perfect. I always think the blending of colors add visual interest to the whole image. As you can see, some of the orange get on the blue lines and that’s okay.

Next, to add depth and interest to the flowers, I added some details with Copic markers. This little adjustment make a huge difference on how the card turned out. For the sentiment, I used the thinking of you from Large Peony 2 set.

Repeating this same technique, I made another one layer card. This time using Rose Garden Cling Background.

Same look, just different set & colors. Simple and easy without  being plain. So, what do you think? What’s your favorite cling background stamp from The Ton? Hah… I am curious to see if anyone as obsess as me with the peony set. 🙂 Well peeps, that’s all from me today. I hope you enjoy today’s post. I’ll be back tomorrow with trending post. See y’all again tomorrow!

I love what you did with all of the cards — I never thought to just dab the color on the background stamps. I purchased the Morning Glories background stamp and have been working with it – will try dabbing the colors on it. Thank you!
