Happiness is Coloring!

dog copics

Hello and welcome, everyone, to my weekly video and blog post.  Today’s card was quick and simple.  I used our new Love and a Dog stamp set and colored him in with several copics markers.  I had posted an unfinished image of this little guy on Instagram a week ago but I wanted to create a video on how I colored him in.

First, I stamped the puppy, butterfly and sentiment onto a white A2 sized card panel in our Caviar Hybrid Ink which is a copic friendly ink.  Then I colored in the puppy using copic markers in B60, C1 and C5.  The pink in his ears, cheeks and tongue were colored with R30 and RV10.  The butterfly was colored using BV19 and V17.  The outline around the puppy and butterfly was created using B000 and BG02.  The shadows under the pup were colored with C5 and C1.

After I finished all of my coloring, I mounted the panel onto a side folding A2 sized white cardbase.  Then I added some Bermuda Blue sequins in 6 and 4mm and a 5mm Turquoise and Caicos sequin to finish off the card!

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and video! Thank you for stopping by!
