Anniversary Release – Day 1

Hello and welcome, everyone, to Day One of our Anniversary Release Week!! I cannot believe that this day has come so fast.  We launched The Ton on January 19, 2015 with six stamps.  Today, we offer over 40 clear and cling stamps sets, 31 inks, coordinating and standalone dies and our fabulous line of Gilding to embellish your papercrafts.

I started off with one DT member (the fabulous Ruby).  Then my team grew to include seven wonderful and talented ladies (Jess, Mayline, Emily, Vera, Keeway and Eunji) all across the country and all over the world (and when I say world, I mean Canada and South Korea 🙂 )  I can’t thank them enough because they helped me make The Ton what it is today.

For our Anniversary Release, we’re releasing 17 new stamps, two dies, 10 Couture Mixes and over 10 new gilding products.  We’ll be featuring a few of these at a time during the course of the week.  All of our new products will be available for sale on Thursday, January 14 at 7 am (EST).  Then come join us on Friday for a fabulous blog hop featuring our design team members and special guests!

Today we have two new Couture Mixes to share with you: Don’t Make Me Blush and Pink Peonies.

Don't Make Me Blush

Don’t Make Me Blush Couture Mix

Don’t Make Me Blush contains a serene mix of dusty rose gold sequins, pretty and light pink sequins, light pastel mint sequins and some dusty rose flora sequins.

Pink Peonies Mix

Pink Peonies Couture Mix

Our Pink Peonies mix contain a mixture of two different pink sequins in different sizes and some clear mini floral sequins. This is a more subtle pink mix that adds a touch of girliness to your projects!

We are also featuring one super pretty Fabulous Scripty Word Die!

We are featuring three new stamps today: Fresh Cut Roses, Timeless Icons Sentiment Set and Morning Glory Garden.

Fresh Cut Roses, 6×8 Clear Stamp Set

I am so excited to introduce our very first layered roses set!  Each layer contains three stamps but the beauty of this set is that you don’t have to stamp the three layers together. You can mix and match the layers to get different gorgeous looks!  Furthermore, the pedestal vase stamp in this set is just perfectly elegant!  Heat emboss it in your favorite metallic embossing powders or even stamp it in your choice of ink.  As always with our layered stamps, this one comes with a color printed layering guide.

Next up is our new Morning Glory Garden Cling Background Stamp.

Morning Glory Garden, 6×6 Cling Background Stamp

This is the next stamp in our Cling Garden Series.  It’s a bit different than our previous Garden Series stamps but just as fabulous as you have a beautiful contrast between outline and solid morning glory images in different blooming stages and leaves.

Timeless Icons Sentiments, 4×6 Clear Stamp Set

Our last featured stamp of the day is our Timeless Icons Sentiment Set.  I’ve compiled a list of happy, motivational and just fabulous quotes from two of the most timeless icons of this century: Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn.  These two individuals are the epitome of what is fabulous and have inspired much of my vision for The Ton.

Let’s get on with our gallery of inspiration created by our super talented design team!  You may see early peeks of other stamps debuting later this week!  You will also see the DT using many of our new Couture Color Inks.  Please enjoy the gallery and make sure to visit each DT members’ blogs to see their cards in more detail!

Mayline’s choice of gray leaves with bright Fresh Cut Roses is absolutely elegant. The whole card just pops with the stark sentiment which she created using our Fabulous word die and one of our new Timeless Icons sentiments by the one and only Coco Chanel.

Next up is my card!  I heat embossed the pedestal vase in silver metallic glitter embossing powder and then stamped the greenery using our Mini Wild Florals set in our Minted Collection inks.  Then I stamped the roses in our Orchid, Peony and Ruby collection inks and then popped them up over the stamped ferns. I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment and added a mix of Glass Slippers sequins.

Here’s a video of the above card! Enjoy!

Eunji continues with the nontraditional rose colors with this beautiful blue rose card.  Her blue monotone roses and pedestal vase is so elegant, especially with the hand painted watercolor look!

Keeway’s card is simple and just stunning.  That blended background is the perfect backdrop for her orchid roses and the elegantly framed sentiment quoted by the eternally fabulous Audrey Hepburn.

Emily’s orange roses are absolutely bright and beautiful against that jewel toned green frame.  That shaded panel just makes the roses pop!

Eunji’s next card features these roses in another watercolor project! The rose given a vintage look with that blended background and multiple stamped sentiment.

Emily’s next card is pretty as she combines orchid and minty hues.  Her popped up roses against an elegant doily and banner sentiment just makes for a pretty card.

Ruby’s card gets right to the point with this beautiful card which she created using our new Fabulous word die and a bright rainbow watercolor background.

Mayline combined our Shoe Wardrobe Set with our new Timeless Icons set to create this simple but super elegant card.  Our new sentiment set pairs so nicely with our Shoe Wardrobe sets!

Keeway’s morning glories are perfectly colored and the added masking to the floral above the sentiment add elegance to her finished project.

Here’s a card that I made using the new Morning Glory Garden background stamp.  I heat embossed the stamp in gold/pink glitter embossing powder and then blended our Couture Color inks (Orchid Collection, Peach Blossom Collection, Lofty Mint) onto the panel. Then I stamped the sentiment separately and trimmed the cardstock to a small rectangle.  I trimmed a similar rectangle on some dark pink cardstock and offset it behind the white stamped sentiment banner.  Then I popped the sentiment up on some foam tape.  Lastly, I adhered some Princess Pink and Sittin’ Pretty sequins in 6mm and 4mm sizes onto the panel to finish off the card.

Here’s a quick video showing you how I created this card 🙂 Enjoy!

Eunji’s next card is another watercolor wonder.  Her stark black outlines are offset by the pale pink accents of her morning glories.

Jess‘ next cards are bold and bright.  I love the multi-toned look she achieved by using just our Morning Glory Background Stamp.

Here is Emily’s Morning Glory Garden shaker card! Her beautiful watercoloring skills have made the florals in this stamp jump off the cardstock, no?

12492035_1536963639950716_2246785015413151695_o

Mayline’s next card uses a perfect and chic color palette of white, black and pink to create a simple but gorgeous garden of morning glories on her project.

12466277_1713023378916214_1645317704801039520_o

Ruby’s card is so beautiful as she selectively colored the morning glories in our new background stamp.  The added shading to the florals and leaves gives the card more depth and a stunning artist quality look to the project.
