Expressing Love with Elegant Roses

Happy Tuesday! Keeway here again to share some cards with you. I don’t know about you, but I’m already thinking about Valentine cards. To me, nothing expresses love more than roses. But who needs a bouquet of roses when you have this beautiful Rose Terrace background to stamp all day long with?

Today I am sharing some cards I made with a pairing of the Rose Terrace background stamp recently part of the December release and the I Got You sentiment stamp. One thing I love about gorgeous background stamps is that they can totally stand on its own and create such a beautiful card!

I stamped the rose terrace background in Versamark ink and embossed it in gold on watercolor paper. I then went back and colored the flowers and leaves with zig clean color brush pens. I then stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with the same gold powder on black cardstock, and sized it down to fit on the card. And lastly, I added some glass sliipper sequins, just to give that extra sparkle at the end.

I loved how the card turned out so much, I wanted to try it out with some other colors too, so I did the same thing, but this time in silver embossing powder, and this time creating blue roses.

I’ve always been a fan of gold, but to be honest, I couldn’t decide which one I liked more!

What do you think? And which one do you like more?

Hope you enjoyed today’s post and become as addicted to stamping these roses as I did!

I ADORE the red against the gold embossing, but the blue roses make me think of my Father, so the silver has won my heart today 🙂
