Christmas card

Hello friends ~ Eunji here. Today, we’re in the month of December!! Christmas is coming soon and I’m so excited.^^ For today I am sharing a christmas card with a couple of The Ton’s stamp sets.

For my first card, I created a panda that is ice fishing with our Panda Can’t Even and Holiday Flourishes stamp sets.

The panda’s fishing rod is made out of a small branch from a tree. Then I tied up the tip of the branch with some gold thread. The panda’s hat was hand drawn with a pen.  I created the ice with the Frozen Berries Couture Mix. I like this name. I think it goes so well with the winter theme. Once the gilding was completely glued on the paper, I painted under and around the gilding with some watercolor.

The panda is catching the Merry Christmas sentiment! Maybe he’ll be able to catch a lot of presents?? ^^

My second card for today is a jar card.  I created this card using our Holiday Flourishes and Sketchy Menagerie stamps sets. I drew the jar first and then stamped some florals and leaves on the watercolor paper. Most of the coloring in this card is from watercolor. I watercolored the deer’s nose with some red paint and stuck it on the card base with some pop-up tape. I also adhered the jar on card base with more pop-up tape. Then I stamped some flourishes along the edges of the card.  Lastly, I added some gilding from our Pumpkin Spice Couture Mix.

Both of Eunji’s cards are so innovative and fresh. The panda card just looks like joy on paper. The beads are perfect for the ice floe. The deer on the bottle is incredibly colored and very cleverly done.
