Keep Calm and Buy Shoes

Hi, Rubeena here with some shoe-spiration! 😉 If you love shoes, then these cards (and stamps) are for you! These were fun to make but did take me a while.

My first card is really basic. I wanted to create my own shoe background so I stamped one of the pairs from Shoe Wardrobe 2d. Ed. Outline on white cardstock cut down to 4″ x 5.25″. I stamped the small layer in various light dye inks in no particular order. To finish it off, I die-cut the word ‘celebrate’ and some patterned banners.

Next, I created a set of five cards with the same design. I first stamped and cut a lot of shoes from Shoe Wardrobe 2d. Ed. Solid and Outline. I used Copic markers to color them in a combination of black, pink, and beige.

I cut out five tags so that they looked similar to price tags (I even added perforations!) and stamped the sentiment from Shoe Wardrobe Filled. Next, I stamped one of the frames from Vintage Frames in the following format:

I cut pieces from tissue paper to add to each “box.”

Finally, I added foam tape to each pair of shoes and arranged them over the tissue paper so they could look gift boxes or gift bags. 🙂

I finished it off with some glossy accents on the shoes so they could look somewhat realistic. Who wouldn’t love these as gifts?!

I’ll end with showing off one of the cards:

I hope you enjoyed my post! Thank you for visiting and leaving me some feedback.

Have a great weekend. 💕
