Merry and Bright Menagerie

Good morning, Jess here using the Sketchy Menagerie stamp set for the very first time!  I have always been a fan of cute and furry wildlife and was a little wary of animal heads; however, Effie assures me that these are faux taxidermy heads!  **Disclaimer: Rudolph was not harmed in the making of this card!**

I started off by stamping the deer with gold dye ink and the sentiment from Holiday Lyrics in red dye ink.  Fans of The Ton will probably realize that the festive garland in the deer’s antlers are not part of any current stamp set…that’s because it’s a teeny tiny sneak from the upcoming Stamp of Approval Holiday Magic collection!  That’s right…one of the stamps sets in this box is designed by The Ton! 🙂 I stamped the garlands in red and green ink and then added a red glittery nose for a little holiday touch!  Finally I trimmed my panel down and ran the edges through my versamark pad before heat-embossing it with gold tinsel embossing powder.  To finish the card, I mounted the panel on a red card base and added a little clear wink of stella and glossy accents to the garland hanging from the antlers!

Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous Monday!
