Flower and Frames are not the kind of objects that will come to your mind, right?

I was on Pinterest looking for something, but the photo of a frame and flowers totally intrigued me!

I took out two sets Vintage Frame and Mini Wild Florals from The Ton Stamps and started playing. This is my result.

I stamped the frame first and then created a mask. With that already in place, I started stamping the mini wild flowers from the larger images to the smaller ones. As long as I kept it almost symmetrical, I think it will look fine!

In the end, I embossed the frame image in silver on vellum. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine and then clear-embossed.  I then cut it out (with a backing of white card stock) and added foam tape. For the embellishments I tied two silver bows and 3 sequins and that’s it.

I made simple tags with the Holiday Bow set. First, I stamped the main color, then I stamped the 2nd layering all in Delicata (Gold). The two-step layering set is very easy to line up. The 2nd layer of ink adds such depth and details. I also rely on Washi tape and pattern paper strip to complete the simple designs. Hope this idea comes in handy for your holiday card-making.

Then I made a second card using the Holiday Bows and Holiday Lyrics stamps to create this card which looks like a wrapped present!

    What a wonderful guest to have here at the Ton – Virginia is an amazing stamper and always thinks of new ways to use them – these cards and tags are super lovely and I especially like her use of thread!! Super awesome ideas!!!

    LOVE your cards and tags, your framed birthday sentiment with the flowers is an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT and I LOVE the the layered bows too!!!
