Hello friends! Last week was so much fun sharing projects featuring the Fall 2015 release and having guest designers join us. The best part was your responses to everything! Thank you for being so fabulous. We can’t wait for you to receive your orders and share your work with The Ton stamps, dies, and gilding. I played with the Large Peony collection for today’s cards. I wanted to keep it clean and simple, with a touch of color (and gold).

For the first card, I stamped the main image from Large Peony 1 onto watercolor paper in yellow ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I sprinkled some Lemon Brusho Crystal Colour onto the flower and sprayed some water on the powder. I set it aside to dry and then I fussy cut it. I stamped a bunch of the foliage from the Large Peony sets, colored them with Leaf Green Brusho, and set aside to dry before I fussy cut them as well. I added splatters of Finetec Gold Paint on my white card base and then arrange the floral and foliage onto the card. I added a piece of doily and some washi tape at the bottom since they are really cute, matching embellishments. I finished off the card with some Medallion Gold Sequins.

For the second card, I stamped and heat embossed the same image with gold embossing powder. I colored with a few Zig Clean Color Brush Pens and added some watercolored strokes using Finetec Gold Paint. It has a metallic look so it looks incredible in the light. I fussy cut the flower and placed it over the doily on my card base. The sentiment from Large Peony 3 was stamped and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Thanks for visiting.
