DAILY GIVEAWAY: Our Daily Giveaway from our Fall 2015 Release week is still going on. Check out our posts from Days 1-4 for details.

For my first set of cards, I created four cards with our new Hey Foxy set.

I started off by heat embossing the foxes in gold powder.  Then I colored them in with inktense blocks.  I used extremely watered down coats of ink to create a light watercolor effect.  I found it very easy to color with my inktense blocks because once the layers dried, the layer became permanent and I didn’t have to worry about lifting color in areas where I reapplied the inktense. I found it easier to use than regular watercolors.hop1

I like the light watercolor effect!  I kept these cards clean and simple.  What do you think?

Next I created a simple set of single layer Christmas cards with our Crystal Flurries and Holiday Lyrics sets.  I heat embossed directly onto the colored card panels with metallic gold and silver embossing powders.  I adhered glitter washi tape on both sides of the top folding, horizontal card bases.  After I adhered the card panels onto the bases, I embellished the cards with silver rhinestones and enamel dots.  These cards were really easy to make and would be perfect to give away as a gift set.

Your next stop is Ruby’s blog!  Before you head on over there, leave a comment here for a chance to win three stamps sets of choice from our new release (to qualify for the giveaway, you must leave a comment on each stop of the blog hop)!

I hope you enjoyed my cards! Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!

I would have never thought to emboss the fox in gold and I can see how that added to the overall effect. But my favorite is the snowflake set. I have a thing for everything snowflake this year! Thx for the great ideas.

I love your new Holiday Bows stamp set and am trying to place an order but am having two problems. My order is coming up as the cost of the stamps set only, with no shipping (and I live in Malaysia) and there is no active link to be put on the wait list for the coordinating Holiday Bows dies set. I’d love to order both. Can you help?
