Hello, I have a few quick cards for you today showing off techniques for a background stamp and using the latest gilding from The Ton.
First I stamped Peony Garden Background Stamp onto white cardstock with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with hot pink embossing powder. After that, I die-cut it using an abstract cover die. I die-cut white cardstock and white fun foam using the same die, and then arranged the inside pieces over the foam. The negative of the pink version was saved for my second card. I used the same die to die-cut gray cardstock and used the negative piece for my third card.
So for the first card, I stamped the sentiment from Shoe Wardrobe 2d. Ed. Solid with VersaMark ink onto black cardstock and masked off the first line. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I fussy cut around it and attached it to the center with foam tape. I added in one of the Dark Pink Heart Gems below it.
For my second card, I glued down the negative die-cut from earlier onto a white cardbase. I stamped the words ‘friggin fabulous from Friggin Fabulous with VersaMark ink onto vellum and heat embossed it with hot pink embossing powder. I fussy cut around it and added it to the center with foam dots. I stamped some flowers from Wild Peonies onto white cardstock and heat embossed it in gold. I added some touches of pink to it. I fussy cut and added it with foam tape next to the sentiment. I finished it off with some Bright Yellow Gold Rhinestone Gems.
My last card is really simple! I glued down the negative gray piece onto a white cardbase. I stamped the sentiment from Princess Cut Diamonds onto a gray and white pattern paper and heat embossed it in Liquid Platinum. I fussy cut it to create a little flag banner and attached it to the center. I added it the beautiful Floral Embellishment 2 Silver and some Silver Rhinestone Gems.
Hope you enjoyed today’s cards! Have a great week!
