I know that every crafter has experienced moments of losing their creative mojo. Whenever I feel stuck, I search for mood boards online. They are great for trying different color combinations or styles. Check out the image below! How beautiful is that?
I fell in love with the colors and came up with this card, using Wild Peonies and Get It Girl. This was really simple to create. First, I die-cut white cardstock with a rectangle scallop die. I did basic stamping with the gorgeous peony stamp and started with the lighter shades to darker ones. I stamped the leaf clusters in random places around the flowers with green, gold, and black inks. I used general stamping with the green ink, too. On separate white cardstock, I stamped one of the peonies in a dark green shade and fussy cut it so I could add it in the center for dimension.
Then, I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I cut around it and added a white puffy trim I had. I added it with foam tape to the card. The card was finished off with some sequins from Cinderalla’s Ride Couture Mix. This is one of my favorite mixes from The Ton!
Doesn’t the trim look like a cloud? 🙂

Ruby, this is a brilliant interpretation of the picture. The wild peonies really pop with the color choice. Thank you for the inspiration.
