You’re Amazing!

Good morning and Happy Monday!  Jess here with a card showcasing stamps from our second and third release!

It’s also a belated card for the 4th of July!  I didn’t want to post it until after I knew it had been received so I wouldn’t spoil it on Facebook! 😉

I started off by stamping the panda from Panda Can’t Even onto a piece of white cardstock with Versafine onyx black ink before heat-embossing it with clear powder.  I fussy cut the panda and then used a black marker to go over the edge of the panda so the white wouldn’t show.  Next I die-cut the large tag shape from dark blue and grass green cardstock.  Then I used a sloped border die to cut the hill shape from the green cardstock.  Since I cut it from the tag first it already had the stitched edge on three sides and the stitched sloped border gave it a finished look.  I used the partial die-cutting technique to avoid overlapping the stitched edge.  I stamped the sentiment from Friggin’ Fabulous onto the green cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with Ranger silver embossing powder.

Next I stamped and heat-embossed several fireworks from the Pyrotechnics set!  I used Ranger silver embossing powder, Ranger blue tinsel embossing powder, and a red embossing powder from Wow.  In hindsight I should have used an opaque red powder but up close the red shimmer is more noticeable.  I actually stamped the red fireworks twice using a red glitter embossing powder the second time for more sparkle.  To finish the card I punched a hole in the top and then added a piece of red twine.  Perfect for the 4th of July! 🙂

Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic week!
