Good morning and Happy Monday! Before I get started…did you hear our exciting news from last week?! We are so excited to welcome Mayline Jung to our design team family!! Check out her intro post…her card is fabulous and I can’t wait to see what else she will create!
For today’s post I wanted to use the Princess Cut Diamonds! I was really inspired by Taheerah Atchia’s Gossip Column post at Winnie & Walter this weekend to create something geometric and I knew the Princess Cut diamonds would be perfect!
I started off by using the ombre inks from Hero Arts to stamp the diamonds in a descending pattern. Then I stamped the sentiment from Round Diamonds with versamark onyx black ink and heat-embossed it with clear powder. Next I stamped the diamond in a tile pattern onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with clear powder. I fussy cut the white panel so that the bottom of the diamonds would be the edge of the panel. Then I adhered that to the black panel with foam mounting tape before adhering the black panel to a dark grey top-folding A2 card base. I finished the card by adding a few black enamel dots for a little extra shine! 🙂
Thanks for visiting and be sure to check back on Wednesday and Thursday for Ruby and Mayline’s posts!
