Wonderful and More!

Hi, it’s Rubeena with Simple FloralsFriggin Fabulous, and Vintage Frames.

I decided to stretch my stamps a bit and used one of the fancy frames from Vintage Frames. With some awesome masking skills, I stamped half of the frame on white cardstock.

Then I took the word “wonderful” from Friggin Fabulous and stamped to the right of it. I stamped the other half of the frame on the right side of the word. Using a ruler and a Copic multiliner brush in small, I drew in the lines between both frames. Doesn’t it look great?? I don’t know why I didn’t think of that before! I used VersaMarker to draw in between the lines and added gold embossing to it. I stamped the word again and heat embossed it in coral. Then I fussy cut the framed banner and set it aside 🙂

For the background, I stamped one of the solid flowers from Simple Florals in different WPlus9 inks. I stamped the matching outline one over it in VersaMark and heat embossed it in gold. It seems that lately I’m super obsessed with gold embossing! I fussy cut around the flowers as well and added the banner between the two layers. I used foam tape to give it some dimension over it. Because part of the banner is in black, I added the flowers and banner over black cardstock. Finally, I added drops of Irresistible Pico Embellisher in Gold around the flowers.

And as a bonus, because my post went up a little late today, I have two more cards for you!

I loved playing with the sentiment set.

Here’s my second card:

This card was pretty easy to create. I used Mermaid Lagoon and colored the center of a piece of white cardstock. I die-cut a circle in a smaller piece of white cardstock. The sentiments were stamped using Hero Arts Ombre Ink in Pool to Navy. I stamped the sentiment again in VersaMark and heat embossed it in clear to give it a nice shine! I filled the shaker with an assortment of blue and white sequins along with some tiny star sequins.

And my third card:

For this card, I really wanted to create a long, fabulous sentiment using Friggin Fabulous. I actually took out my MISTI to make sure I stamped it well. The sentiment was stamped using Hero Arts Ombre Ink in Pink to Red. I did the same thing again and stamped in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it in clear. I used a stitched line die to cut around the sentiment.

I colored another white cardstock with Distress Ink in Spun Sugar and stamped the laughing panda from Panda Can’t Even in the bottom right. I added the sentiment piece using foam tape and finished the card with drops of Irresistible Pico Embellisher in Wedding Dress.

There you have it! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week.
