Foiled Flowers

Good morning, Jess here!  So I finally gave in and picked up a cheap laser printer so I could try foiling…and I’m so in love!  I will do my best to not foil everything in sight but I did want to share a CAS foiled card I created using Simple Florals and Friggin’ Fabulous!

I used masking paper to stamp the three flowers with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto a piece of scrap cardstock and I stamped the sentiment with the same ink.  Then I used the laser printer to copy the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 4.25 by 5.5.  After that was printed I placed a piece of pink foil over the front of the card and ran it through my laminator!  One pass through and voila!  Gorgeous shiny foiled flowers! 🙂  I made a second card but used gold foil for the sentiment and pink for the flowers.  Here’s a close-up of that card:

To finish the cards, I adhered both panels to a piece of pink glitter paper and then mounted them to a top-folding A2 card.  I’ve tried using embossing powder for laminating but nothing beats that laser printer!  I can’t wait to try foiling diamonds and peonies! 😉

Thanks for visiting and see you Thursday!
