You’re Fabulous

Hey friends! I’m here with a quick post. I know that many of you can relate to me when I say I’ve been pressed for time. There are many things I want to try with my crafting, like masking and watercoloring and embossing. Sometimes we have all these ideas in our head but not enough time to make them happen. I still want to be able to create cards but I have to get creative about keeping them simple but fabulous! Well, today’s card features the fun Friggin Fabulous set from The Ton‘s second release. I hear it’s one of the best sellers!

I first decided that I would use the color combination white, gold, and blue. It’s such a gorgeous trio! I know I wanted to make it layered so I grabbed a white and blue polka dot pattern paper for the background, added a gold doily, with a smaller circle over it and then an imperfectly ripped vellum scrap. I stamped “you’re fabulous” in VersaMark and heat embossed it in gold on the vellum.

What’s a card without sequins, right? This time I didn’t want to just glue down some sequins so I thought of creating a little threaded banner with Glass Slippers, Medallion Gold and Smarty Pants Blue sequins. Once I had secured the banner over the doily, I glued down all the layers. That’s all!

Quick, fabulous card for a fabulous someone! 😉 Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great week!
