Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! We’re featuring a card created with our Shoe Wardrobe Lined stamp set. I paired up the Converse Sneaker and some Lawn Fawn die cut hearts for this card (I kinda love this combo!). I used some heat embossing, die cutting, distress ink blending and overstamping techniques for this pretty pink card!
First I blended some distress inks (Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick) over some white card stock from top to bottom for an ombre effect. Then I die several hearts using some adorable Lawn Fawn heart dies. I adhered the hearts onto the card stock and then stamped the Converse shoes from our Shoe Wardrobe Lined set in Hero Arts Neon dye ink partially over the die cut hearts and partially onto the card panel.
The sentiment is from our Sketchy Menagerie stamp set. I actually cut the “wild” from the sentiment because I found myself inking up the wild in different colors from the rest of the sentiment. It just made it easier to cut the stamp than to cover or mask the sentiment each time I wanted to use this stamp. The sentiment was heat embossed using Ranger’s Liquid Platinum and Red Tinsel embossing powders.
Next, I sprinkled on some of our pink heart confetti to add some pink metallic shine. Then I adhered the card panel onto a soft pink card base to finish off this playful card! That’s all for today! Thanks for stopping by everyone and Happy Valentine’s Day!
