Hey everyone!! Today’s post is all about stretching your planner stamp sets. There are all these small adorable icons in all the planner sets out there (including our own – Scheduled Planner stamp set).
Our Scheduled Stamp set has more than 10 fabulous icons that you can create chic backgrounds with. Use either the tiny heart, buggy, stunnah shades (this might be my favorite) or the little brown bag to create a repeating polka dot style background.
Here is the Clustered Heart card that I made using the tiny heart stamp in our Scheduled stamp set. I used Avery Elle’s pigment inks in Raspberry and Orchid and Tsukineko’s Brilliance pigment ink in Pearlescent Orchid. The sentiment is from our Vintage Frames stamp set. I chose the “love” and “you” from this set because they were small and simple and went with the overall simplicity of the card design.
Here’s a close up! Don’t you just love clustered hearts??
The basic heart background I created in a polka dot pattern took me less than 5 minutes to make! These notecards are perfect for mass producing and fun and bright ink colors. You don’t even have to include a sentiment on the front of these notecards!
The first card in my video was a little more involved because I die cut the patterned card panel. I also stamped the sentiment and die cut that portion into a small circle. I popped everything up on a card base at the end. The hearts in this card was stamped in Tsukineko’s Brilliance pigment ink in Pearlescent Purple. The sentiment (which was from the Vintage Frames set) was stamped in Victorian Velvet.
Here are just some individual shots of some other notecards I made using the icons in our Scheduled set.
Don’t you love the stunnah shades??!!
So take a closer look at your planner stamp sets and use the icon stamps for more than just stamping your planners!! Hope you all enjoyed this post!
